There is a Happy Hush that happens when Snowflakes begin to fall. As the snow blankets the landscape time seems to slow down. The chill leads us to build a fire, make hot cocoa, read...play...snuggle...kiss. Snow encourages intimacy. Work stalls till the roads are clear. My relationship with God like my husband needs snow days. Days when I am willing to slow down & just focus on him and our relationship. Days when I am willing to read and focus on his holy word. When I'm willing to play with the ideas he is throwing my way. Days when I am willing to speak the desires of my heart and pray. This week God sent Snow days. We had a lot to talk about.
